Maestro Stars Academy aims to inspire and empower young minds through a multidisciplinary, creative after-school program that nurtures curiosity, fosters innovation, and cultivates a lifelong love for learning. We envision a vibrant community where students explore diverse fields, from music and the arts to sciences and math, developing essential skills and discovering their unique passions in a supportive environment. By integrating creativity with academic excellence, we aim to prepare our students to become well-rounded, confident individuals ready to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

Through a nurturing and inclusive approach, we aim to equip our students with the skills and confidence they need to excel academically and thrive in all areas of life.
Program Overview
The Maestro Stars Academy After School Enrichment Program for Kindergarten to 5th Grade students is a comprehensive, engaging program designed to complement and enhance your child’s daytime education, helping them become well-rounded “maestros” of their own success. This multidisciplinary program consists of a variety of classes offered in a nurturing and supportive environment and is built in the foundations of English Language Arts and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). Students will take classes in English Language Arts, Creative Arts, Science, and Mathematics that will build upon age-appropriate educational foundations, challenge and further develop their skills, and expand their horizons through engaging, cross- and multidisciplinary activities.

In addition to the four core classes, the program offers multiple options for families to choose from to support students interests and desired skills development.

​Independent Piano
Practice
This option allows students to spend extra time practicing and honing their piano skills.

​STEAM
This project-based option is for students who do not play a musical instrument or are interested in further non-musical educational activities with a focus on STEAM.

​Musical Theater
This option allows students to practice vocal and musical theater skills; this option combines vocal performance, monologue, acting skills, and dance movement. Each semester the students will do a small production to showcase their skills.
​Chinese Language
This project-based option is for students who do not play a musical instrument or are interested in further non-musical educational activities with a focus on STEAM.

Additional Information
Class Size
​​
All classes are in a small-group setting (up to 12 students per class) with students grouped based on a combination of age, school grade, and skill level. Small groups allow students to receive individualized attention, with lessons adjusted by leveling up or down based on the needs of each student.
Program Hours

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday -> 2:30 to 6:30 pm
Tuesday -> 1:30 to 6:30 pm
Notes: Arrival 1:30/2:30-3:30 pm (students may start arriving after their school ends), and classes start around 3:30 pm. This program follows the Cupertino School District academic calendar, including all applicable breaks.
Breaks

Breaks are scheduled between each class period, with snacks and water provided to students during these breaks.
Instructors & Curriculum
This program features instructors with decades of practical and teaching experiences in their respective topic areas. Instructors include those who are certified teachers and/or have advanced degrees in their field, along with years of experience working with children and students of different ages, grade levels, and abilities to help them thrive academically and creatively. Instructors have diverse experience in formal and informal classroom, group, and individual educational settings. All curricula were developed by the instructors to create a unique, multidisciplinary program that weaves together the fundamentals of STEAM, music, theater, and Chinese Language.
