​Overview:

Our Creative Arts classes provide students with the tools to explore their creativity through a diverse range of artistic mediums and techniques.  Students will develop skills such as visual-spatial awareness, fine motor control, emotional expression, and critical thinking while learning to adapt and be flexible in their creative processes.

Key Features:

• Learning About Different Types of Art and Artists: Students will be introduced to a variety of key artists from around the world and different time periods, along with the diverse types of artwork those artists have created. They will also use this knowledge to inspire their own artwork and stylistic choices.

• Exploring Different Mediums: Students will work with a variety of materials such as paint, clay, and mixed media, gaining experience in diverse art forms.

• Skill Development: Classes emphasize fine motor skills, visual composition, and attention to detail, allowing students to build technical expertise while expressing their individuality.

• Creative Thinking: Students are encouraged to think critically and solve creative problems, enhancing adaptability and flexibility in their art-making process.

• Emotional Expression: Art projects are designed to allow for personal expression, helping students communicate their emotions and ideas through their work.
