Ms. Lin is a pioneering leader in music and arts education, dedicated to integrating arts and STEM into a world-class curriculum. As the Founder of Maestro Stars Academy and Colorful Universe, she has expanded her renowned conservatory training and college portfolio program into a prestigious K-5 arts and science school, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and presentation skills. Accepted as the top-ranked pianist into the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Ms. Lin graduated at the top of her class. She won the National Pearl River Piano Competition in 1999 and later became a tenured faculty member at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Opera Center. As a visiting scholar at The Juilliard School, she refined her expertise in collaborative piano and artistic coaching. She holds dual master’s degrees in Piano Performance, Collaborative Piano, and Educational Management, blending artistic excellence with educational leadership. With 25+ years of experience in performance and education, from kindergarten to the college level, Lin has mentored award-winning musicians and helped students secure admissions to top universities through elite music portfolios. As Director of MTAC, a Certified Piano Evaluator, and Curriculum Director, she is committed to high-level arts education. Beyond education, Ms. Lin is an international event organizer, leading concert tours with Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, and other prestigious institutions. She also organized a landmark event at SAP Center for 20,000 attendees featuring President Bill Clinton. Her commitment to innovation and excellence ensures Maestro Stars Academy remains a premier institution for future global artists, scholars, and leaders.

Soprano Ms. Natalie holds a Master of Music in Vocal Arts from USC’s Thornton School of Music. A finalist in major international competitions, she has received awards from the Metropolitan Opera Council Auditions, Lauritz Melchior International Wagner Competition, and Meistersinger von Nürnberg. An accomplished performer, Ms. Natalie has appeared in leading operatic roles and recently created and performed St. Martin in The Garden by Matthew Owens with Goat Hall Chamber Opera. As a vocal performance coach in Silicon Valley, Natalie prepares students for competitions, auditions, and charity concerts. Her students have earned Gold and Excellence Awards at the Berkeley Junior Bach Festival, Protégé Competition, and Disney Heritage Festival.

Tony Award-winning baritone Mr. Eugene has starred in leading roles in Die Fledermaus, Hansel and Gretel, Il Trovatore, The Marriage of Figaro, Carmen, and Falstaff as a Resident Artist with Opera San José. Named Resident Artist Emeritus in 2024, his collaboration with Michael Tilson Thomas led to national tours, a PBS recording, and releases on DVD by EMI Classics and Netflix. As head coach of Maestro Stars' musical theatre team, Mr. Eugene has led students to top U.S. competitions, earning awards in solo, duet, and monologue categories. Under his mentorship, performers thrive on national and international stages, showcasing exceptional artistry and technique.

Ms. Olga has captivated audiences across renowned opera houses, including the Bolshoi Opera, Stanislavsky Opera Theater, Hawaii Opera Theater, San Francisco Lyric Opera, West Bay Opera, and Illinois Opera Theater. A dedicated educator, Ms. Olga has guided students to top awards in national and international competitions. As a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) and National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), she provides students with access to the testing system and extensive performance opportunities. At Maestro Stars, she teaches Level 7-8 vocal, preparing students from early-advanced to advanced levels and coaching them for solo and duet competitions, instilling both technical excellence and a love for performance.

Dr. Annie has led students to top national awards in musical theatre competitions, excelling in solo singing and acting/monologues. A dynamic performer & educator, she empowers students with expertise in vocal performance, music direction, and stagecraft, fostering both technical excellence and expressive depth. A National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) finalist, Dr. Annie has directed young performers in vibrant, collaborative showcases. Her academic background further refines her approach—an M.S. from UC Santa Cruz honed her skills in musical storytelling and performance direction, while a Ph.D. in Pathology deepened her expertise in vocal health and physiology. She is deeply committed to guiding more students to success in national-level competitions and professional stages.

Ms. Lisa is a distinguished soprano known for her artistry and high register. She collaborates with top musicians to deliver captivating performances built on technical excellence and emotional depth. Ms. Lisa has performed with professional musical theater companies, gaining invaluable stage experience. She later became a dedicated educator, directing school productions, leading youth choirs, and coaching professional vocalists. Her mentorship has helped students develop confidence, master technique, and prepare for major musical theater auditions. As a former college professor, Lisa brings expertise in vocal training and performance development, ensuring structured, high-level instruction. She has performed at many theatrical productions, inspiring young artists to excel with confidence and stage presence.

Ms. Isa is a highly skilled piano instructor specializing in ABRSM, RCM, and CM exam preparation while shaping well-rounded performers. After earning degrees in performance and music education, she is pursuing a Master’s in Piano Performance. With top-tier certifications in piano and violin through ABRSM and advanced distinctions from Trinity College London, she offers deep expertise in international music programs. Her teaching emphasizes personalized, engaging instruction tailored to each student’s strengths and goals. Students excel in exams, competitions, and recitals, showcasing technical mastery and artistry under her guidance. Committed to fostering confidence and musical excellence, Isa equips students with the skills and stage presence to succeed as performers.

Dr. Nick is a composer, researcher, and educator specializing in music composition. He is a Lecturer in the Department of Music and H&S Dean's Fellow at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). He earned his D.M.A. in Music Composition from Stanford University, held artist residencies, and has presented research at NYU Steinhardt and other leading institutions. Dr. Nick’s compositions have been performed internationally by renowned ensembles, with premieres including The Juilliard School and Royal Academy of Music in Denmark. As a dedicated educator, Dr. Nick mentors young composers by integrating advanced research with creative exploration. He is also an expert college music portfolio counselor, guiding students to top universities and helping them achieve their academic and artistic aspirations.

Ms. Mahsheed is an accomplished mezzo-soprano and dedicated voice educator, recognized for her artistry in opera and musical theatre. She holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance and Opera from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM). Ms. Mahsheed has performed with renowned opera companies on prestigious stages and is a recipient of multiple honors, including the Graduate Scholarship Award and SFCM’s professional development grants. As a voice instructor at Maestro Stars, she is passionate about nurturing young vocalists, focusing on classical technique, musical storytelling, and stage confidence. Balancing performance and teaching, Ms. Mahsheed brings professional artistry and vocal excellence to the next generation of singers.

Taylor is a Northern California artist and music educator who holds a MA in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Her performing experience ranges from opera to musical theater to jazz and other contemporary styles. Taylor’s goal as an educator to instill confidence in young performers and set them up for success as musicians, artists and storytellers. Many of her private students have received top prizes in local and national competitions such as the San Francisco Heritage Festival, the American Protege International Vocal Competition, and the Musical Theater Competitions of America.
