Maestro Stars Academy’s professional Musical Theatre Performance training program is taught in conjunction with musical theatre fundamental theory, technique, and practicum instructions. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a full-scale musical theatre production, which takes place at the end of each academic year.
There are three levels of productions that students may be placed in, with level-appropriate shows chosen, based on their skills and experience. All productions are directed and choreographed by the faculty of Maestro Stars Academy and/or professional musical theatre guest artists.
Students must have signed up with any level of our year-round vocal training program, which includes group classes and private lessons, to be eligible to be part of the Maestro Stars Academy Musical Theatre Competition Team. The Competition Team is an audition-based troupe that competes in several nation-wide competitions each year.
